Education & Career

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County is dedicated to ensuring that our members have the opportunity to take part in programs that help develop their academic abilities, make it to graduation, and prepare them for life after the Club.

Everyday at our Clubs during the school year, our Clubs take 45 minutes for our members to be actively engaged in various academic activities.  This includes silent homework time, reading time, tutoring, and academic challenges (team and individual based).

During the summer months, we offer Summer Brain Gain.  This unique program, developed by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, helps our members retain the knowledge and skills learned from their most recent school year.

We also offer programs such as Career Launch to help introduce our members to the possibilities for their future.  This program takes our members to local businesses to see the daily routine of various career paths.
